On friday it was announced that the queen of talk Oprah will sit down for an interview with the trouble daughter of the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina and some her relative this week. The interview will air on the 11 March on OWN (in the State alone), only a month after Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hills hotel in LA.
This raises questions about the time frame of Houston’s death, will the family answer the questions about Whitney’s drug abuse and the alleged romours about Bobbi Kristina using drugs at tabloids had reported?
Personally I think it too soon for Oprah to do an interview with the family and what will come out of it? That is my personal view. One would argue that this will give the Houston family to respond to the tabloids surrounding Whitney’s death and Bobbi Kristina’s alleged drug use.
Oprah was the first to interview Whitney after her divorce to Bobby Brown and recovery from drugs in 2009. The interview was spectacular and one of the defining moment of Oprah to date. Is Oprah wanting another scoop or is this a rating machine for her network? We wonder. Let’s hope someone put it on the internet for us to see.
Will Oprah asks the difficult questions we want to hear? Wait and see!
